The North Cornwall Railway
The line started at some 600ft above sea level, descended to
about 150ft at Launceston, then climbed to its peak at a height of 860ft near
Davidstow before it finally descended to just above sea level between
Wadebridge and Padstow.
Follow the route as it is today using Google Maps from here:
Tower Hill station.
Camelford Station (station on right of road).
Port Isaac Road Station.
St Kew Highway Station.
Select the "Satellite" setting and simply use the scroll arrows to follow the route to Padstow.
Select "Show labels" (hover mouse pointer on "Satellite") to see place and road names and numbers.
